A tradition here and at other folk festivals, the Ballad Tree and
Songwriting Circle
offers songwriters an informal setting in which to share their
songs and songwriting ideas — come ask your questions,
get some tips and sing your own original songs.
The Ballad Tree literally takes place under the shade of a tree on the Northwest lawn of the Main Library, just across Church Street from the Courtyard Stage. No sign-ups or schedule (except for the hosts), so just come on over with your guitar either Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
